65th Street Apartment, Manhattan Excavation
In this high-end New York City apartment,
the owner spared no details with well-made modern replica lion face
brushed nickel hardware and colorful stained glass windows and skylight.
A beautiful Sherl Wagner sink and slipper tub (just sold - sorry)
were only a few of the details in the wooden and brick bathroom.
From the lighting fixtures to the oak kitchen cabinetry everything was done
using fine metals and woods. Many of these items can now be seen at our
24th St location as well as at our
Scranton Warehouse. Kitchen sold as a complete set including
some of the appliances.

One of Andy Warhol's
Factory Buildings
Very unique industrial
building with steel entry and french doors. Also a
unique elevator
door. Two iron entrance surrounds with peaks over
the doors. The architecturologists retrieved the
entire arched entranceway to a small gallery from this
building. We're stripping the paint from many of
the steel french doors for the urban industrial look
which is quite sought after and difficult to locate.

Customer Testimonial & Showcase:
A customer from the Boston,
MA
area wrote the following:
"All of us would like to say a
very sincere thank you for all
your help in selling us our
beautiful fence. Everyone
in the neighborhood loves it.
For months we were the talk of
the block. So many people
never even realized that there
are companies like yours that
can provide such antiquities.
And even more important we were
approved very quickly by the
Architectural Board, and that is
not an easy thing to do.
Others in our building wanted to
buy a new reproduction for our
fence. They thought it
would be easier and last longer.
They were so surprised when they
realized that #1 it was easy to
have installed #2 its more
unique than any other fence on
our block and #3 its history.
Its precisely the type of fence
that should be in front of a
home built in the 1880's."
On our last update we mentioned a new book...
with more great ideas of how to use salvaged
architectural items in renovations
