Do
you
know
how
many
times
we
hear
this?
Well
often
enough
that
even
we're
starting
to
notice
that
it
really
is
true.
Many
of
you
know
of

in Chicago
as
well.

the
horizon

Miami,
Dallas
and
Washington
DC.

Central Pennsylvania
Home
Here you see
just one of many
homes slated for
demolition in this
small Pennsylvania
town to make way for
a new hospital
location.
Concerned owners
wishing not to lose
this history for
good called on the
architecturologists
to salvage their
history...

Pennsylvania
Catholic
Institutional
Building
The building was
built in the late
40's and is now
undergoing an
interior remodeling
project. We
were able to acquire
some interesting
items including
pews, built-in
cabinets, corrugated
glass dividers and
stainless steel
kitchen counters,
lighting and more.

New
Chicago Restaurant
Recently opened
"wine bar" Italian
restaurant on State
Street
in Chicago's River
North section...
|
|
|

This
unique
restaurant
was designed
with many
salvaged
architectural
items from
Olde Good
Things...
including
glass from
windows we
salvaged
from the
Flat Iron
Building in
NYC which
they used
for mirrors,
as well as
subway tile
lining the
walls
throughout
the entrance
and dining
room,
antique
heart pine
flooring
which was
salvaged
from beams
from a
Brooklyn
sewing
factory and
an old deco
built-in
refrigerator
with beveled
glass front.
Nice stuff..
and nice
dining
experience
too! |

C.M. - Customer from
Sag Harbour, New
York...
When their new
addition was coming
into the family...
it was time for just
that... a new
addition.
Here's what C.M.
told us upon
completion..
"It was actually a
pretty big project
we undertook, taking
a 1200 sq ft 1920's
cottage and turning
it into a 4000 sq ft
house without
changing the look of
it from the street
-- and it worked!
We're very pleased.
We took the front
entrance and put it
on the side of the
house, where we used
the door and sconces
we got from you. We
have received many
compliments from
people saying 'where
on earth did you get
those? Have they
been in your family
for years?' And the
door is a big hit,
too. It's huge!"

Many
customers
like our
unique line
of ceiling
tin wall
hangings and
framed
mirrors...
Here's just
a sample of
the variety
of possible
design
usages set
up by one of
our regular
buyers
at her shop
in Michigan.
