He's got friends, too...

But the intrepid Architecturologists aren't afraid... They removed several dozen of the terra cotta heads from this building on 45th Street off Madison Avenue.  Amazing stuff to find in midtown Manhattan, isn't it?

  Here's two street-level views of the intricately decorated 19th century victorian building facade   including details like these sculptured terra cotta heads
       
   
Each frieze is comprised of seven stones--six on the perimeter and the center head.  Most of these can still be seen at our Chelsea store
