What better place to spend Elvis Week?  Ellis Auditorium in Memphis, Tennessee is where the Architecturologists were--but not for a for a concert--doing what they do best.

One of the most famous buildings we've done, and one of the biggest auditoriums in the country at one time, Ellis is where Elvis Presley performed his first sold-out concert.

This building is being razed for the expansion of the Memphis Cook Convention Center (links to follow, if you want to read more about it)
